Belvoir castle and Tough Mudder Midlands saw 36 hours of action, with Europe’s Toughest Mudder (a 12 hour event over the Saturday night) this weekend was next level epic. It’s hard to pick the best bits of Midlands, but one thing’s for sure behind the photos of moonlit obstacles and mud-covered grins are thousands of stories.
From the Mudders running in memory of lost loved ones, to the people who have overcome unimaginable struggles to step foot on the course, and those that are raising money to help causes big and small.
“Running for the British Heart Foundation after my uncle, who received support from them over the years, sadly passed away in January. I’ll be having a Guinness after the race to toast to him.”
“We’re ready to take on Tough Mudder Midlands for the 2nd time for Nottinghamshire Mind because Mental Health matters.”
“Running in honour of our aunt who sadly passed from a heart attack in December. She dedicated her life to fitness, so seemed like a worthy homage.”
