6 REASONS WHY TOUGH MUDDER 2022 WAS THE BEST

It’s that time of the year guys. Our epic season of 2022 has come to an end. Is it just me or does every year get bigger and better? HELL YEAH IT DOES. Literally counting down the days till we meet again. Here are 6 reasons why Tough Mudder season 2022 was the best 🔥

Let’s have a little recap shall we 👀…

Reason 1)

We’re gonna start this the right way….with “MUD” of course. North West was and ALWAYS will be our muddiest event of the year. If you’re looking for up-to-the-neck, concrete-thick, never-getting-cleaned mud then this event is the one for you. I mean the pictures say it all really. 🤣

🚨New Obstacle Alert🚨

We welcomed “Slidin Dirty” to our London South event this season and it’s safe to say that over 15,000 of you got to trial this beauty 🔥 Wanna know more? (COURSE YOU DO) We caught up with Chris, our “Tough Mudder Product Manager” to find out exactly where the idea for this obstacle came about.

Not sure if it’s the sparks from the 10,000 volts of electricity from EST or the sparks between these two guys that’s doing it for me. Yep, we witnessed the most epic proposal of all time this season right at the end finish line at South West. Congratulations John and Donna on your engagement.

Reason 5)

👋Waves for days 🌊

The incredible Pride Run wave made an appearance at our South West Event. Did you know that 10% of profits from the Pride Tee’s sold on the day went to the incredible charity Switchboard LGBT? Thank you to everyone who took part in this colourful adventure full of rainbows, colourful squid hats and Unicorns. 🏳️‍🌈

Another amazing wave that made a return was the famous Granny run at London South. The Granny Run was started in 2014 by Anthony Wilson. His grandad had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2012. In an attempt to cheer him up, Ant told his grandad that he would run Tough Mudder dressed as a granny. As the years have gone by, the Granny Run has gained a huge following, with over 150 Mudders joining us on the start line in 2019. Incredible stuff guys, well done to all of you.

Whilst i have you here, we are chuffed to say our official charity partners, Macmillan, Mind and NSPCC have collectively raised over £400,000 this year in total 👏 Well done to all participants that have taken part.
